Oyster River Cycle and Sport is here to support out community in any way it can. We are taking these steps to close the shop to walking traffic but will still be offering full service to help keep you riding and getting outside. If you need repairs please contact us and we can make arrangements. At this time we can take payment by phone, but working towards being able to take payment online to make it easier.

Gift certificates can be purchased over the phone and we are also working towards being able to offer special orders shipped to home.

Please help to support all of our great local businesses and support your local bike shop.

History

Who we are

Who we are

Oyster River Cycle and Sport was founded by Paul Berton and Brian Keegan. Both are long-time residents of the Seacoast with strong connections to the Oyster River Community and the University of New Hampshire. Brian is a UNH alum and during his tenure at UNH was a member of the UNH Cycling Club. After college Brian ran a bike coalition in California and continued to race his bike. Since he returned to NH, he has coached the UNH Cyclo-cross team and also worked in a management capacity at several bike shops throughout the state. It has always been his dream to open a local shop that was welcoming to all members of the community, where he can provide the best sales and service. With an educational background and community focus, Brian is also passionate about teaching basic bicycle maintenance and riding techniques so that everyone can get the most enjoyment out of their bicycle, however they choose to use it - whether it be for commuting, weekend rides with the family, or racing. Oyster River Cycle and Sport is literally a dream come true!
